Historical Entertainer

Jannes is a historical entertainer enjoying to enchant everyone from young to old.

As a Roman, 14th, 15th, 16th/17th or 19th century historical magician, Jannes has been pleasantly entertaining the present-day audience for many years in a comical and self-mocking manner.

Because of the high level of historical authenticity Jannes is a welcome guest at castles, historical festivals, museums or Roman sites. But he also performs in shopping malls or at parties. Besides street or table magic, Jannes also has his own medieval stage show.

Education

Jannes has developed a number of lessons for upper and secondary education classes. Entirely in character and of course with the unavoidable magic, Jannes tells enthusiastically and with a lot of humor about life in former times. 

In addition, Jannes gives lectures on the history of magic.

Animation

Besides being a historical entertainer, Jannes has been active as an animator and actor for over 25 years. For example, he plays 'Pier la Lach', a great pantomime act in which the atmosphere constantly shifts between creepy and big smiles.

With a lot of imagination, he also performs as 'Florijn van Tast', a trader in fantasy.
